French retailer Carrefour is undertaking a new advertising campaign across France to promote its Carrefour Discount range, which was launched last May, Végétable has reported.

The crux of the new campaign, which began on 1 January and will last three weeks, is the price positioning of the range, with Carrefour intent on targeting consumers that are cautious during the current economic downturn.

The discount range will be advertised on television screens across France, as well as on posters, in stores and on the company’s website.
