Global fruit marketer Capespan and Indian agribusiness giant Mahindra ShubhLaabh Services Ltd (MSSL) have signed a memorandum of understanding to look into the possibility of creating a joint venture company in the Indian market.
The aim of the agreement is to enable both companies to expand their presence in the expanding Indian market. The two firms will develop their knowledge of the Indian retail environment and product supply dynamics, as well as forging a brand strategy and a five-year plan for a possible 50/50 joint venture.
