Almerian grower-exporter Caparrós Nature has launched a gourmet cherry tomato, adding to its rapidly expanding premium vegetable range. Lobello is a highly flavoured cherry plum tomato on the vine with an intense red colour.
“Thanks to its exceptional sweetness – sometimes registering a brix level of more than 12o – and elegant appearance there’s no doubting that this is a truly special product,” said company manager Pedro Caparrós, adding that the Lobello’s juicy and explosive flavour would satisfy even the most demanding palates. The first commercial volumes will be available from October.
The company’s premium vegetable line which also includes black seedless watermelons, and Tigre Verde, Raf and cherry plum tomatoes.
