Peruvian agricultural giant Camposol has announced that, as of today (2 November), Manuel Salazar has taken over the position of chief executive officer from Samuel Dyer Coriat.
The group stated that Coriat would initially continue as executive chairman for 'some months' in order to support Salazar during the transition, before eventually becoming chairman of the board of directors.
'We are very pleased to have Manuel in our team, as he not only has the experience but also has the organisational, financial and commercial skills in order to help us achieve our vision to become one of the first five leaders in the world in the provision of healthy food,' said Coriat.
