Naturipe Farms has announced today the appointment of Brian Jenny to the group's newly created position of director of business development (east coast), a role he will take up on 4 October.
In the role, Mr Jenny will have the responsibility of leading the east coast sales team, servicing the existing client base and developing new business opportunities in the retail, foodservice and wholesale channels.
He joins Naturipe from Monterey Mushrooms Inc, where he worked since 2002, most recently in the role of director of sales/eastern region.
'Brian brings an extremely strong skill set, management style and proven track record to Naturipe Farms,' said Jim Roberts, vice-president of sales at Naturipe. 'He has a keen understanding of the east coast retail marketplace, in addition to experience working with foodservice operators and national restaurant chains'.
Mr Jenny noted that he had been fortunate to work for some industry-leading companies, and was looking forward to adding Naturipe to that list.
