Bratigny, the wholesale subsidiary of Omer-Decugis & Fils, has become the fourteenth French fruit and vegetable wholesaler to obtain the Fel'Excellence certificate of excellence.
This label recognises the company’s daily work in servicing its customers, its employees and all partners throughout the value chain.
The label was created by members of UNCGFL, the National Union of Wholesale Trade in Fruits and Vegetables, and with the support of CTIFL, the sector’s technical centre.
Bratigny was highlighted for its progress and best practices in complying with regulations, in taking into account all stakeholders, in committing to quality control and in developing workers’ skills.
Christian Berthe, president of UNCGFL, commented: 'Fel'Excellence is the answer to the legitimate demand for transparency and trust that all operators must be able to expect from their wholesaler, a key element in the value chain of our sector. We are delighted today that Bratigny, wholesaler of Omer-Decugis & Fils, is joining the family of certified companies.
Vincent Omer-Decugis, chairman of the management board of the Omer-Decugis & Fils Group, added: “The achievement of this certification by Bratigny marks the recognition of our quality policy and our continuous improvement and innovation initiatives, the foundation of our growth in the service of our customers.”
