Boston Fresh, a regional produce wholesaler, repacker and fresh-cut processor, has announced that it will begin operating out of its new facility in Brockton, Massachusetts in July.
Specialising in tomato repacking , value-added packing and fresh-cut solutions, Boston Fresh will also inventory a full line of fresh fruits and vegetables.
“Our first priority is understanding our customers’ needs and building a programme to support them,” said general manager Charlie Nano. “But a close second is fulfilling our obligation to support that programme with products and services that they can depend on day-after-day.
'Our team has put a lot of thought and planning into this expansion, and we look forward to building more great relationships with retailers and foodservice operators throughout the Northeast,' he added.
The new Brockton facility will be HACCP certified, GFSI audited and PTI compliant with all labeling conforming to GS1 standards.
