Bonduelle

French convenience specialist Bonduelle has announced an increase in turnover for the third quarter of 4.4 per cent at constant exchange rates.

In the Europe zone, turnover rose by 3.6 per cent, compared with a decline of 0.6 per cent in the same period last year, demonstrating the group's 'strength and resilience in a climate of quite low consumption', according to a press release.

Bonduelle reported that the fresh-cut salad segment is performing well, showing strong growth in France and improving steadily in Germany following the impact of the E.coli crisis.

Outside of Europe, sales grew by some 7 per cent, thanks to sustained growth in Russia and the CIS countries, as well as in South America.
