On 6 December, at the chamber of commerce and industry in Paris, trade magazine Le Moci organised the second awards ceremony to honour the top small- and medium-sized exporters in France.
Apple and kiwifruit exporter Blue Whale took home the food exporter award, thanks to its continuous growth over the last decade and its presence in 48 countries, both in Europe and elsewhere, including Asia, the Middle East, Africa and North America.
During the presentation, Blue Whale director Alain Vialaret thanked all the producers, the group’s president, Claude Rehlinger and all Blue Whale’s employees.
Mr Vialaret said that this prize was just reward for the company’s hard work during the difficult campaign of 2009/10.
