Bloom Fresh has announced the appointment of Fiachra Moloney as chief marketing officer. The company said Moloney brings with him a wealth of experience in brand building and category value creation, having worked with renowned brands such as PG Tips, Lipton, Gillette, Dove, and Pringles during his tenure at Procter & Gamble, Kellogg’s and Unilever.
Most notably, he played a key role in transitioning Unilever’s tea business in the UK & Ireland to private equity as part of CVC Capital Partners’ acquisition.
“His track record of creating value for consumers, retailers, and growers aligns perfectly with Bloom Fresh’s mission to be the global leader in fruit innovation, using natural breeding practices to build a heathier, tastier and more sustainable future for growers and consumers worldwide,” the company said.
In his new role, Moloney will focus on enhancing consumer engagement, strengthening relationships with retailers and growers, and supporting Bloom Fresh’s natural breeding innovation programmes.
“Bloom Fresh’s commitment to bringing innovation and value to the global produce markets aligns perfectly with my passion for building brands that have a positive impact on the world. I am excited to be part of a team that is transforming the industry,” he said.
CEO Josep Estiarte commented: “We are delighted to welcome Fiachra to the Bloom Fresh team as our chief marketing officer. His extensive experience and proven track record in brand management and market development make him the ideal leader to drive our marketing efforts and deliver value across the supply chain”.
