Bill Zentner has been promoted to director of ratings at Blue Book Services, reporting to CEO and president Jim Carr.
Zenter, who has more than 14 years of experience in the fresh produce industry, most recently served as manager of Blue Book’s ratings team and is now responsible for leading a team of seven associates, with over 60 years of experience, who compile and report timely ratings on businesses throughout the produce supply chain.
“Bill’s leadership skills, combined with his industry and financial expertise and our experienced ratings team, allow us to remain the industry’s resource for credit rating information,” said Jim Carr.
“I am thankful and excited for this new opportunity, but I would not be where I am today without the mentoring and consistent support of Ken Schultz,” states Zentner. “I look forward to taking the ‘ratings torch’ Ken carried during his many years at Blue Book.”
