Airfreight operator British Airways World Cargo has announced theappointment of a new BA World Cargo customer service team in Thailand.
From the beginning of November, the new team has replaced QantasFreight, the carrier’s previous general sales agent (GSA) in Thailand,and will be based in a new office at WFS-PG Cargo, located at Bangkok'sSuvarnabhumi Airport.
The creation of a new sales office - established following amutually amicable agreement with Qantas Freight - represents asignificant boost to BA World Cargo’s operations in Thailand, where thecarrier is aiming to build on its recent solid performance.
BA World Cargo serves Thailand with seven weekly B747-400 lineflights, which route London – Bangkok – Sydney – Bangkok – London andfeed into British Airways World Cargo’s global network of 200destinations in over 80 countries.
