Arnold Reijers has stepped down as commercial director of Dutch vegetable producer organisation FresQ.
The group did not provide any further information about his departure, although Eurofruit understands that Reijers made the decision to leave due to differences over the organisation's future direction.
FresQ director Jan de Boer and its head of external affairs Jacco Vooijs are expected to cover the vacant position between them while the search for a replacement goes ahead.
Reijers was appointed to the post of commercial director in early 2010 following a restructuring of FresQ's sales division, having earlier worked as the organisation's marketing manager.
Between May 1992 and January 2003 he worked as a sales manager for Dutch vegetable seed developer Enza Zaden, covering areas including eastern Europe, the North American greenhouse market, the eastern Mediterranean and Scandinavia.
He was subsequently appointed business development manager for the company, a role he carried out until April 2009.
