Apeel launches new range of plant-based waxes and fungicides

Apeel Sciences has launched a new range of “next generation” post-harvest solutions. Fresh Formulaics offers a plant-based alternative to conventional waxes and fungicides, helping to reduce spoilage, extend product freshness, enhance appearance, and can reduce worker exposure to harsh agricultural chemicals.

“These legacy options often rely on traditional petroleum-based technologies and synthetic chemicals, which can be harmful to workers and the environment. Fresh Formulaics’ products are designed to provide safer, smarter solutions for the produce industry,” the company said.

The new range will debut at February’s Fruit Logistica.
