Netherlands-based Ammeraal Beltech presented a suite of products designed for the unique demands of the fruit and vegetable processing, covering everything from hygiene to performance at last week’s Fruit Logistica in Berlin.

“Seasonal production cycles place significant pressure on equipment, and our solutions are designed to withstand that. Ammeraal Beltech’s belts provide the reliability needed for higher productivity and safer food handling,” Marzio Cazzamali, global industry segment manager for fruit and vegetables, told Fruitnet.

“Whether optimising operations or exploring new possibilities, our products are designed to meet the unique demands of fruit and vegetable processing.”

Ammeraal’s range includes the recently launched uni SNB M2 20% Open Nub Top modular belt for fresh-cut and leafy vegetables, which the company claims reduces sticking and adhesion of wet products, making washing, dewatering, cooling, and mixing of vegetable leaves more efficient.

Other solutions on display were the Ultrascreen Pro, which Cazzamali described as: “Our leading positive-drive mesh belts are engineered for self-tracking, reduced slippage, and extended lifespan, ensuring smoother operations and greater reliability”; along with Ultrascrreen XMD to protect against foreign body contamination, the AMMdrive belt range and AMMcare, giving instant access to all the belt’s data, including datasheets, certificates, quick quotes, order requests at the click of a button.

“Many visitors came to us with challenges, and we provided the solutions. Whether optimising operations or exploring new possibilities, our products are designed to meet the unique demands of fruit and vegetable processing,” Cazzamali said.

“Meeting industry professionals and discussing ways to improve their operations was truly rewarding. Seeing our products spark new ideas is what makes events like this special.”
