Ammeraal Beltech has launched a new modular belt for fruit and vegetable processors. The uni SNB M2 20% Open Nub Top modular belt is designed to maximise hygiene in produce processing, according to the company.
“Engineered with a 1” pitch, this innovative belt sets a new industry benchmark by combining superior drainage capabilities with exceptional non-stick properties, thereby enhancing hygiene and operational efficiency,” it said in a press release.
The belt features a unique 20% open mesh design with round nubs, significantly reducing the adhesion of wet products to the belt surface. “This innovative design boasts drainage, ensuring seamless product conveyance and avoiding interference with the inspection process. Available in PE, POM, and PP materials, in blue or white, the belt offers enhanced durability against low temperatures, chemical exposure, and impacts, making it ideal for rigorous processing environments,” Ammeraal Beltech stated.
The uni SNB M2 20% open nub top is suitable for various applications including washing, dewatering, cooling, and mixing of vegetable leaves. According to the manufacturer it offers optimal performance throughout production processes, enhancing cooling and drying efficiency by maximising airflow and minimising adhering effect, space, and frame requirements.
