German hard discounter Aldi Süd is reportedly set to make big moves in the UK market, according to UK publication The Daily Telegraph.

The newspaper, as quoted by Planet Retail, said that the group is aiming to open some 30new stores and extend its existing outlets and warehouses in the next year, creating around 3,000 new jobs.

These jobs will include more than 100 posts for graduates, the newspaper reported.

'This year, Aldi has also launched a National Apprentice Scheme, working in partnership with local colleges, to create200 jobs within stores nationwide,' said Richard Holloway, head of graduate recruitment at Aldi.
