Shlomo Tirosh has announced that he is to retire from his position as the chief executive officer of Israeli fresh produce giant Agrexco after a 16-year spell at the helm of the company.
Agrexco said that it respected the decision made by Mr Tirosh, and thanked him for his years of service to the agricultural sector.
The board of directors at the group revealed that they had appointed a committee to find a new CEO noting: 'We are fully confident that the company would continue business as in the past.
According to the group, Mr Tirosh will remain in office until the board of directors can find a replacement.
