The Association of Ecuadorean Banana Exporters (AEBE) has announced in a press release the re-election of executive director Eduardo Ledesma for a fourth term.
Ledesma will remain at the helm of the nation’s banana organisation for the period 2011-2013.
The vote was made by board directors on Monday 5 September during a meeting chaired by Jorge Alex Serrano.
The re-election marks Ledesma fourth consecutive term as executive director at AEBE.
In his role, AEBE said one of Ledema’s main objectives will be to lobby the signing of a Cooperation and Development Agreement between the European Union and Ecuador.
