On 28 December, Greek kiwifruit exporter Zeus Kiwi gained accreditation from Chinese phytosanitary authorities (AQSIQ) to export its kiwifruit to China.
According to the company's Christina Manossis, this marks a major step in the company's export plans.
She told Fruitnet.com that the company intended to send its first kiwifruit shipments to the Chinese market during the current 2010/11 season.
