A new report has revealed that the average price of Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports increased by 0.9 per cent in August against the same month last year.
The Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association (Vinafruit) revealed that for the year so far, fresh produce prices had actually jumped by 7.8 per cent on 2009 in export markets.
According to Vinafruit, prices of certain items, such as fresh chilli, garlic and dragon fruit had all registered 'significant' increases, Vietnam News reported.
