Global fresh produce packer-distributor Valleyfresh has announced it will open offices in New Delhi, India, and Saudi Arabia on 1 July 2016.
The Australian-headquarted company said its two new offices will offer Valleyfresh feet one the ground in the two regions, serving the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East.
“This launch supports our ongoing commitment to customers to deliver on-the-ground support,” said Doug Hammonds, Valleyfresh director of exports. “Not only will this help us to better service each of these regions locally, but also deliver stronger opportunities to supply them from our major export bases in [Australia, New Zealand], the US, South America and South Africa.”
Heading up the Indian office will be Gurdip Singh, who brings with him more than 18 years of experience in the industry, more recently with the Washington Apple Commission in India.
Naseem Azam will head up the Saudi Arabia office, bringing with him experience in airfreight, shipping, global sales and operations in the Middle East.
