Thai Airways Internationalhas announced it will double the number of cargo services to China in April to support growing fruit exports.
The airline’s airfreight division, Thai Cargo, will run 87 charter flight services to deliver fresh fruits and merchandisesin April, up from 39 in March.
It will run 58 flights to Guangzhou; 12 flights to Chengdu; eight flights to Kunming and nine flights enroute Kunming – Delhi utilising Airbus 350 and Boeing 777 aircraft.
“Thai Airways, as the national flag carrier, is determined to be a major part to drive forward the country’s aviation and tourism economy as well as to support and promote the agricultural products that require special care and attention to global market,” said the airline.
“Our air transportation service is provided with the highest standard of safety and delivery efficiency to support growth and expansion of Thailand’s economy.”
