Asiafruit’s upcoming May edition is our 20th anniversary edition. To mark this milestone, Asiafruit is celebrating with a special commemorative issue, and we want to hear from you.
Tell us what Asiafruit means to you and how your business has grown with the magazine over the past 20 years. We want to hear your stories and see your pictures of how things were and how they’ve evolved. Is your business celebrating a landmark anniversary as well this year?
Our 20th anniversary edition will feature a timeline of key events in Asia over the past 20 years, alongside an overview of the milestones in the region’s fresh produce trade, as reported in the pages of Asiafruit Magazine.
We’ll also present a statistical analysis of how the region’s fresh fruit and vegetable trade has evolved over the two decades, and some projections for the future.
The launch in April/May 1995 of what remains Asia’s only fresh fruit and vegetable business magazine coincided with a boom in the region’s so-called ‘tiger economies’. The Asian financial crisis soon followed, but the subsequent recovery across the region, coupled with China’s rise as an economic superpower, has seen Asia become the growth generator for the global fresh fruit and vegetable business.
Asiafruit has charted that rapid rise over the past 20 years, during which it has evolved into a print and online offer as the leading source of news, insight and analysis for Asia’s fresh fruit and vegetable business. Our 20th anniversary edition will be a fascinating look back at those changes, and a forward-thinking guide that readers will want to keep.
