Stemilt Growers has announced that experienced sales representative Bill Young is moving to the company's export sales department following a six-year stint at the group's domestic sales segment.
Young, who assumed his new role on 23 May, has operated in the fresh produce industry for over 27 years, including 20 years serving customers with Stemilt apples, pears, cherries and stonefruit.
'I'm excited to have Bill back at the export sales desk,' said Dave Martin, export sales manager at Stemilt. 'He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position, and will help us better serve our customers in all markets currently served, as well as help to expand the number of markets where Stemilt fruit may be found in the future.'
