OOCL vessel

OOCL is linking up with French carrier CMA CGM in a vessel sharing agreement to provide a weekly fixed-day service running between New Zealand and North East Asia, as of 24 December.

The Journal of Commerce reported the New Zealand-North East Asia Express service would compliment Hong Kong-based OOCL’s existing New Zealand-South East Asia Express service.

OOCL stated the vessel sharing agreement would increase both its capacity and port coverage and allow it to meet growing demand from clients in New Zealand.

The port rotation will be: Hong Kong, Chiwan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Pusan, Suva or Noumea, Auckland, Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Tauranga, Noumea and back to Hong Kong.
