New Zealand agribusiness Scales Corporation has announced a 25-35 per cent increase in earnings compared to the forecast in its June 2014 prospectus.
The group’s interim results are set to be released on 27 August, with managing director Andy Borland announcing in June that he was confident Scales would meet its NZ$20.8m net profit forecast on the back of a strong performance in its horticulture division.
The apple exporter and owner of Mr Apple ships around 25 per cent of the New Zealand crop, with a net profit of NZ$18.4m in 2014.
