International transport and logistic service provider Norbert Dentressangle's freight forwarding division, Norbert Dentressangle Overseas, has announced the launch of 'Red Sky Connect', a managed, end-to-end airfreight service covering the world's four major trading regions of Asia, Europe, Latin and North America.
According to the group, the service is launched across six initial routes, connecting China to Europe and the Americas, Latin America to Europe and the US, and the US to Europe, with further routes to be added in the future.
Under the new service, the group is offering suppliers 'consolidation of origin, customs management and daily direct and indirect flights', in a bid to offer reliable services managed by a single partner.
'The launch of the new service is part of our strategy to develop our activities on the major Norbert Dentressangle Overseas trade lanes to support our clients in their key markets,' noted Dave Barron, global commercial director of ND Overseas.
