The US Apple Export Council (USAEC) has announced the engagement of association management and professional service organisation SmithBucklin as its new full-service management company.
USAEC is a trade association representing 11 different apple producing states across the US, accounting for nearly 40 per cent of the country's total production.
'This change in management will allow us to have more scalable operations, to offer the ability to better service our members and to more effectively promote apple exports in foreign markets,' noted USAEC chairman Mark Girardin.
'We look forward to working with the SmithBucklin team to increase our service to our members and continue to grow the overseas presence of our products in the years ahead,' he added.
