Wal-Mart China has appointed former vice president Anne Myong as its new chief financial officer.
Myong has served as Wal-Mart China’s chief administrative officer for the past 15 months and will continue to manage the company’s administration, strategy, and merger and acquisition sectors.
Myong’s predecessor, Mario Jose, has taken a senior financial management position in Wal-Mart’s Latin American region.
Wal-Mart has outlined plans to expand further into the Chinese market, with the retail giant hoping to open 100 new stores in China over the next three years.
