Tna, the turn-key, integrated packaging and processing solution specialist, has appointed Peter Calopedis as its new chief financial officer.
The Australian group, which supplies food production companies across the globe, has revealed that Mr Calopedis will oversee and control the financial planning and activities of the business, focusing on increasing profitability through the efficient use of resources.
'I am looking forward to working with everyone here at tna and making sure that the company continues to grow in the right direction, as it has done in the past,' Mr Calopedis said in a statement. 'Tna has a great product line of vertical form fill and seal machines, and I hope to ensure that tna operates at the most efficient level financially.'
Mr Calopedis brings a wealth of experience to the role, having served as both CEO and CFO at companies specialising in food manufacturing, processing and distribution.
'Given Peter's high level of professional experience in management, commercial manufacturing and financial settings, we are convinced he will be a perfect addition to tna,' said group managing director Alf Taylor. 'His past achievements are indicative of what we know we have to do in the future, and we're happy to have him with us.'
