Pear Bureau Northwest has appointed Morgan Cairns as its sampling and events coordinator.
Cairns has experience in events management, foodservice, communications, and graphic design, having previously held positions with Winning Mark and Brix Tavern. Her most recent project involved the redeveloped and implementation of innovative social media strategies for clients at Expand Your Brand in Portland.
“Morgan’s enthusiasm, drive, and experience will be an asset to Pear Bureau Northwest,” said Kevin Moffitt, president and chief executive of Pear Bureau Northwest.
“In store sampling and event sampling are essential parts of our marketing plan, encouraging consumer trial, impacting sales, and driving repeat purchases. With Morgan onboard, we can make demos more effective, increase consumer loyalty to pears, and increase pear sales.”
Cairns holds a degree in applied arts and sciences, with a focus on graphic design from San Diego University. She also completed Wings personal development seminars in Eugene.
