Packhouse solutions supplier J-Tech Systems has appointed Michael Williams as its new general manager.
Williams currently serves as the sales manager with the Australian-based company, where he is responsibile for automation, machinery and packaging sales. He joined J-Tech Systems in 2010 in a packaging sales role, having previously worked in the management and set-up of retail supermarkets.
Williams will assume the role in early November, with outgoing general manager Cameron McInness taking up the position of director of innovation with J-Tech’s sister company in New Zealand.
“Having worked closely with Michael, I’m impressed with his ability to think outside the box and focus his attention and thinking on his customers to deliver the best results for their business,” McInness said in a release.
J-Tech is a wholly owned subsidiary of the New Zealand company Jenkins Group.
