Maersk Line has announced Anderson Luo as the head of its operations in north China, taking over from Mike Fang on 1 November.
Luo began his career at te global shipping and logistics company as a trainee in 1994, and since then has worked at various locations across China before moving to Shanghai in July as head of Maersk Line East Central China, and will now be based in Qingdao.
“North China continues to outperform the market, with solid growth in the past few years despite challenging market conditions,' Luo told IHS Maritime. 'My focus going forward will be to keep that good momentum through a relentless focus on delivering best-in-class products to our customers.'
