A South Korean company is in negotiations to develop greenhouses in Pakistan to grow a variety of red chilli.
According to a report by the News International, Korean company Sojung Cooking and G-Food is interested in establishing a joint venture with a local company whereby it would be able to grow and process horticultural products in Pakistan.
The newspaper reported land would be provided by a Pakistani company, while machinery, technology and know-how would be provided by Sojung Cooking and G-Food.
The company plans to visit Pakistan in May to further develop its business plan, the newspaper reported.
