New Zealand’s Freshmax has launched its innovative new retail pack for kiwiberries in Singapore.
The snack pack has hit retail shelves this week, with the conveniently packaged berries being marketed as an on-the-go snack.
“Our distributor has been extremely pleased with this product launch. The innovation alongside the great tasting fruit is a winner for all parties,” Tracey Burns, Freshmax export manager said. “Creating a packaging option outside the standard berry punnet draws great interest from the trade and consumers.
“It stands out on shelf and is an ideal grab and go solution for people looking for a healthy snack.”
New Zealand’s kiwiberry season kicked off early this year, with fruit hitting export markets in February.
