It has been announced that the 2008 incarnation of the AustralianCitrus Industry Conference will be held on 13-15 October in Griffith,New South Wales, hosted by Australian Citrus Growers and Griffith &District Citrus Growers.
The event will operate under the theme of 'Working in partnership for production, profit & power', and is expected to draw up to 300 growers, commercial providers, researchers, exporters, packers and marketers from across the citrus industry.
The conference will showcase a range of expert speakers from both Australia and overseas, such as production and promotion specialist Tom Spreen from the University of Florida, plant nutritionist Jerry Stoller and Horticulture NZ's Jerf van Beek.
Additionally, the conference will include field walks, demonstrations, research project updates, social events and an official conference dinner.
