Bharti Walmart’s chief merchandising officer is set to speak at Fresh Produce India 2012, India’s leading fresh produce conference event.

William has first hand experience of this as Bharti Walmart, a joint venture between Bharti Enterprises and Walmart, organised a ‘fresh supplier development workshop’ with growers in Maharashtra in October last year, as part of a plan to train some 35,000 Indian farmers over the next five years.
