The Australian Horticultural Exporters Association (AHEA) has appointed Dominic Jenkin as CEO.
Jenkin brings with him experience from across the horticulture industry, from farming to exports and consulting, more recently as export development manager with Vegetables WA.
“Dominic has a wealth of experience in the export sector working in the family export operations, as well as private enterprises and peak industry bodies,” said AHEA chairman David Minnis. “I look forward to working with Dominic advancing the interests of traders in the third largest agricultural industry in Australia.”
Jenkin said he was seeking to “foster greater collaboration across the value chain to support and strengthen Australia’s competitive advantage in trade of horticultural produce.”
AHEA was established 30 years ago as the peak industry body to represent Australian exporters and has more recently been representing imports of horticultural produce as well.
