Damco – the logistics arm of shipper AP Moller-Maersk – has appointed a new country manager in Cambodia.
Andy Lim comes to the role with 13 years of experience in the logistics sector as both a provider and user of third-party logistics services.
Mr Lim will manage all aspects of Damco’s logistics and freight forwarding business in Cambodia
“I am very excited to work in an emerging market with so much growth potential,” Mr Lim said in a statement.
“Damco has been in Cambodia since 1995 and we have a strong presence here with our own dedicated accounts and warehouse management teams. Our focus is on providing comprehensive supply chain solutions to support our customers’ logistics needs into and out of Cambodia.”
Mr Lim will report to Narin Phol, cluster manager for Damco in Vietnam and Cambodia.
“Andy brings a comprehensive understanding of commercial and operational strategies and strong track record of management success in Asian emerging markets to this role,” said Mr Phol. “I am confident he will lead the team to continue delivering effective solutions and excellent service to our customers.”
