International logistics service provider IFCO systems has delivered a second consecutive quarter of revenue and operational profitability growth, driven by continued robust and sustainable growth in RPC Management Services.
Group revenues increased by 5.6 per cent to US$195.2m through the second quarter (Q2) of 2010 when compared with the previous year, while operational profitability grew 22.5 per cent to US$36.1m, IFCO said.
Revenue in RPC Management Services climbed 12.1 per cent to US$106m, while earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) rose 17.1 per cent to US$30.6m.
Meanwhile, Pallet Management Service revenues came in 'close to the previous year', IFCO noted, despite being impacted negatively by the overall economic decline in the US in 2009.
