Shipping giant CMA CGM has revamped its services between India, the Middle East and East Africa.
The company’s new Noura Express service will be operated four TEU vessels, with calls at Jebel Ali, Khor Fakkan, Mombasa, Mogadishu and Jebel Ali.
Six 2,800 TEU vessels will operate the new Swahili Express service, with the rotation including the ports of Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Khor Fakkan, Dar Es Salaam, Zanzibar, Nacala and Nava Sheva.
Both services will begin operating this month, with land-locked African countries to be serviced by CMA CGM’s intermodal and logistics solutions.
CMA CGM will become the first shipping company to offer a direct service between India and Zanzibar on a 21 day rotation.
