This year’s event, held on 5-9 April 2025, will take place in Kunming, China, and focus on the significant opportunities offered by the Chinese market.

The 2025 congress will focus on Asia

The congress will bring together breeders, legal experts, researchers, and industry authorities from around the world. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the latest advancements in plant breeding and explore strategies to safeguard breeders’ innovations and intellectual property.

The CIOPORA Academy will kick off the week’s activities with educational sessions, while the Public Conference will offer insights into successfully developing business opportunities in China.
