Simon Boughey has announced his departure from the Cherry Growers Australia (CGA), stepping down as CEO after five and a half years with the industry body.
Boughey will finish up on 29 June 2016, stating in the CGA's autumn newsletter that the “the CGA Board has planned a different direction”.
Boughey thanked all the CGA board members, state associations, industry bodies and more for his five and a half years at the industry body.
“The Australian cherry industry has its best years to come and I hope I have assisted in the process of steering it in the right direction,” Boughey said.
