Global logistics giant CH Robinson has introduced Navisphere Technology Platform, the latest version of the company's single global technology platform, which provides full visibility, quality consistency and strategy-driven business intelligence to its operations around the world.
The platform, according to CH Robinson, is the company's response to increasingly sophisticated supply chain requirements being met by various logistics providers and will be utilised by the company's employees, customers and service providers to manage transportation and sourcing activities on a global scale.
As well as utilising more in-depth, multi-service integration to users, this latest technology release brings significant improvements to CH Robinson's online tools, including a modernised user interface, streamlined access to vital data and a customisation ability to help support customer requirements across global workflows.
Navisphere allows customers to leverage CH Robinson's technology investments and gain access to a centralised network of more than 100,000 supply chain partners, without the need to integrate with each provider individually. Access to this unique information allows users to better manage their logistics costs, foster optimisation and improve productivity across the whole length of the supply chain.
By integrating with a shipper's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Navisphere automates workflows between transportation and business operations as well as providing visibility to global transportation across all modes.
'Simplifying complex scenarios creates real value for carriers, shippers, and others in the supply chain,' said the company's chief information officer Tom Mahlke.
