Industry veteran Brian Ceresa has joined Australian grower-marketer Costa Exchange as the group’s grape export sales manager.
Ceresa stepped into the new role yesterday, and brings with him more than 30 years experience in the horticulture export industry, particularly in the grape and citrus categories.
He comes to Costa Exchange from his most recent position as Delica Australia’s export manager.
“Brian has been brought into the business to provide valuable experience in export sales, grape export program management and development of current and future export markets in the grape category,” said Elliot Jones, the general manager of Costa Exchange’s grape division Grape Exchange.
“In addition to this Brian will provide further horsepower to the citrus categories sales team.”
Costa Exchange expects to see an increase in its export volume of the Midnight Beauty grape variety this season, and the company aims to introduce a range of new seedless grape varieties from the Sun World International breeding programme.
