Peruvian fresh produce giant Camposol has announced in a press release the resignation of its chief commercial officer (CCO) Michael Horney, who is leaving to pursue personal projects.
Mr Horney has been with Camposol since June 2008 when he re-joined the company as commercial manager after previously holding the position of deputy commercial manager between 1999 and 2006.
“Camposol thanks Mr Horney for his contribution to the company during his tenure as CCO, and wishes him success in his future endeavours,” said Camposol CEO Fabio Matarazzo di Licosa in a press release.
Mr Horney leaves the company on 31 March and has expressed gratitude to his colleagues and to the shareholders for the trust shown in him.
Camposol said it will look for a suitable replacement for the position in the coming months.
In the meantime, Mr Matarazzo di Licosa will oversee the commercial activities of the company.
