Berjaya Philippines has bought a minor stake in 7-Eleven Malaysia for US$1.7m.
The investment company purchased 5.4m shares in the Malaysian convenience chain, which operations more than 2,100 stores in the country.
Berjaya will now hold a 0.49 per cent stake in 7-Eleven Malaysia, according to the Manila Times.
7-Eleven stores are operated in the Philippines by Philippines Seven.
