Kelly Jones, a former director of National Information and Communications Technology Australia, has been appointed as the new chair of the board of Citrus Australia, it has been announced this week.
Ms Jones, who started in her new role on 27 July 2009, has replaced the outgoing chair Kevin Cock. According to Citrus Australia, Mr Cock has taken a leave of absence from intense duties, remaining as an active board member.
'Kelly brings expertise in business management, information technology, project and change management and finance having worked in senior management positions and consultancy for ANZ Bank, MLC, NAB, Westpac, Deutsche Bank and IBM,' the group said in a statement.
In addition to the appointment of Ms Jones, Citrus Australia has announced that Tania Chapman has been handed the role of deputy chair of the organisation's board.
