APL today (24 January) announced the launch of a new China Southeast Asia (CSE) service – a direct service that links north and central China to the South East Asian markets of Vietnam, Thailand and the Philippines.
Designed to facilitate trade between China and South East Asia, APL's new CSE service will be synonymous with fast transit time, APL said.
Shipments on board the CSE service from Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh to Manila will arrive in four and three days respectively. Shippers can expect cargo delivery from Manila to the Chinese ports of Qingdao and Shanghai in four and six days respectively.
Commencing its first sailing from Qingdao on 12 February, the CSE service will call the ports of Qingdao, Shanghai, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Laem Chabang and Manila, APL said.
